Brava combats violence against women and sexism in Switzerland. In so doing, we pay special attention to people in particularly precarious situations, such as women refugees.
We counter injustices by taking various approaches: with education programmes, counselling, political work and awareness-raising work.

The Child and Adult Protection Contact Point (KESCHA) is an information and counselling service for people who are affected by a child or adult protection measure. Among other things, the contact centre advises people who have questions about guardianship or proceedings by the child and adult protection authority (KESB) or the court.

The service is aimed at children, adolescents and young adults who have experienced violence. They receive immediate and uncomplicated help and advice. However, it is also open to relatives, trusted individuals and professionals. The counselling is free of charge, confidential and also anonymous.

to provide psychosocial and therapeutic assistance to victims of domestic violence and their children, as well as to sensitize the public and professionals to this problem.
We offer a confidential and secure place to stay for a limited period of time (six months). Children are welcome and your stay will be supervised (individual interviews, discussion groups, mother-child interviews).

The UMV has three missions:
- To provide victims of violence with forensic advice
- To offer advice and training to professionals
- To conduct research on the subject of interpersonal violence.
The consultation offers victims :
- a warm welcome and an attentive ear, enabling them to
- to talk about the violent events they have
- they have experienced.
- a clinical examination focusing on the violence experienced
- so that forensic documentation can be drawn up
- (report of assault and battery, photographs of injuries).
- The report can help the victim to assert her rights.
- referral to a network of partner institutions
- and partner associations.
This consultation is confidential and free of charge.
How do I make an appointment?
By telephone Monday to Friday, 8am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm,
weekends and public holidays from 8am to 12pm.
