Le Pertuis is an emergency shelter open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. It is aimed at adults, either on their own or with child(ren), who are going through a crisis, including domestic and family violence. Stays last for around one month, during which time everyone is provided with a safe haven and a space for reflection that encourages them to embrace new prospects for their lives.
To help its residents move beyond their crisis, the support team offers personalised guidance tailored to the specific issues surrounding domestic violence. It also provides parenting support, as well as assistance with administrative procedures.
A distinctive feature is that the centre welcomes not only victims but also a small number of alleged or confirmed perpetrators of domestic violence. The focus is on the individual, in a spirit of respect, openness and the creation of new possibilities. As the recognition of suffering is the common thread among all guests, the shared living arrangement between adults provides real added value.
Accommodation, food and socio-educational support are included in the services provided. Overnight stay: CHF 90 per adult / CHF 50 per child.
