Strength in unity – Every step counts.
Every year, around 100 women and 70 children find refuge at the Frauenhaus beider Basel after experiencing violence, insecurity or distress.
Behind every door that closes to protect them, there is a story. A mother trying to rebuild her life. A child who needs to regain a sense of security. A family that deserves a second chance.
On 21 November 2026, at the Basler Stadtlauf, the KidsToo team will take to the starting line with a simple yet ambitious goal:
to turn every kilometre travelled into tangible hope.
All the funds raised will be donated to the Frauenhaus beider Basel to support its work with the women and children in its care.
How can I support ?
1. Make a donation
You can support our work today by making a direct donation.
Every contribution, large or small, helps advance the cause.

2. Become an ambassador and run with us

Each ambassador is invited to spread the word about their participation to their family, friends or colleagues to help maximise the impact of the fundraising campaign.
⚠️ Registrations to become an ambassador are open until October 16th to allow for the production and delivery of the T-shirts.
3. Even if you can’t run or donate…
Even in this case, you can make a difference:
• Spread the word about this campaign.
• Share it on social media.
• Pass it on to your colleagues.
• Invite your friends to join us.
Because sometimes, simply sharing something is enough for someone to discover a cause they would never otherwise have come across
Every contribution counts
20 CHF
→ enable the provision of a personal alarm to enhance a woman’s safety.
50 CHF
→ help fund essential clothing (T-shirts, leggings and socks) for a woman arriving at the shelter with no personal belongings. Or:
→ enable the purchase of food so that a woman can prepare a meal for herself and for the other women and children in her care.
80 CHF
→ help to fund a new schoolbag or essential school supplies for a child.
100 CHF
→ enable women and their children to use public transport in the Basel region, a vital step towards their independence.
150 CHF
→ fund a mobile phone security check carried out by a specialist IT firm in order to protect the victims.
500 CHF
→ enable you to buy creative or educational materials, or games for children. Or:
→ offer a child the chance to go on a summer camp.
1’200 CHF
→ help a woman settle into her new home and start a new life.
2’000 CHF
→ support the Liaison project, a support programme for children who have experienced trauma.
5’000 CHF and more
→ help to improve the shelter’s living, leisure and play areas, with a view to providing a safer, more welcoming and more child-friendly environment.
